New Logo Launched
Fosun Group, Shanghai's well-known private conglomerate announced on the 18th August, 2006, for the first time in its development history, the changing of its trademark (logo). After over a years planning and revision and also with the assistance from Interbrand (an international brand consultancy company), Fosun's new brand strategy is finally complete.
Fosun has expanded from its pharmaceutical business in the early stage to management and investment in multiple industries, including medicine research and development and manufacturing, real estate, steel and retail sectors. The business expansion of Fosun has made it necessary to adjust its overall brand image in order to enable Fosun, which intends to become international and more modernized, to have better brand communication in the international market.
Fosun's new trademark is more modernized than the old version and holds a new way of thinking, leading Fosun into international recognition. The first English letter, ¡°F¡± consists of two parts, the lower part and the upper one. Compared to the ¡°F¡± in the old trademark, the new ¡°F¡± is more distinct and symbolizes our greatest respect and recognition for the leadership, professionalism and also the team spirit at Fosun.
